10 Best Desserts to Get in LA 🍦🍩🍰
1. Salt and Straw
Adress(es): -12180 1/2 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, CA 91604
-8949 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
My Opinion: I thought this store was amazing. They had so many unique flavors. I loved how unique this place was and how good the flavors were!
What I've gotten: I've tried Avocado and Strawberry Sherbet and Chocolate Gooey Brownie. I LOVE 💖 Avocado Strawberry Sherbet. It is very creamy and soft, and adds a nice taste to your mouth. Personally, I didn't expect much from this flavor, thinking that it would taste lots like avocado, but it really had everything ice cream needed in it, sweetness, taste, strawberry, and avocado! Chocolate Gooey Brownie was okay. If you like a classic chocolate, then that's good for you. It wasn't as fresh or as unique as Avocado and Strawberry Sherbet.

2. Somi Somi
Adress: 621 S Manhattan Pl #208-A, Los Angeles, CA 90005
My Opinion: It was pretty good. I liked the mixture of the bungeobbang and the creamy ice cream. It was a a little too much for some people, but I think it was an okay amount for me. The bread is a Korean Street Food that is usually served hot and filled with red beans. (It is really good...) I honestly liked how sweet it was and fit my mood after having some Korean Food when I was in Koreatown.
What I've got: I've tried the most basic one, (I'm a pretty basic person) milk ice cream with red bean filling. I chose fruity pebbles for my toppings. I've also gotten Ube and red bean with Oreo cookie crumbles.

3. McConnells's Fine Ice Creams
Adress: Grand Central Market, 317 South Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013
My Opinion: Seems pretty basic, but it is actually really good. It is technically your traditional ice cream store where there are many flavors to choose from. I love this place and it is very delicious in my opinion. I also appreciate how it is available at the grocery store like Whole Foods.
What I got: Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Dutchman's Chocolate, & Mint Chip | THE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES IS HEAVEN. 😇💖💕 This has got to be my favorite flavor from here. It is really refreshing, but leaves that nice chocolatey feeling in your mouth that is savory. Basically a wonderful mix of sweet & savory. The Dutchman's Chocolate is your everyday chocolate flavor except creamier and more indulgent. The Mint Chip has a nice after taste to it.

4. MILK + T
Adress: 310 E 2nd St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
My Opinion: Okay, so this is probably one of my favorite boba stores. I love the fact that you get to customize nearly all of it. 👏🏻 Like what drink flavors, how much boba, and other toppings. The flavors are also pretty diverse, although they don't have lots of flavor options like T-Pumps, it still is pretty decent. The store is really neat and clean. I discovered this store as a food truck and I went there again after it opened as a physical store. It has nice seating arrangements and has a little wired light (#bobawasted) for you to take some pretty cool pictures.
What I got: - Strawberry Pineapple 🍓🍍
- Lots of boba
- 75% Sweetness
- Green tea 🍵

5. Blue Nova
Adress: n/a
My Opinion: It's okay. I guess it's not the best, but it's still really good. This one was also a food truck in Little Tokyo and I thought it was super cool because a few days before hand I saw rolled ice cream on social media. I really wanted to try it. The price was a little overpriced, but I guess it's not that bad. I would probably rate it a 3.8 out of 5.
What I got: - Famous Joe Joe's Cookies and Cream

6. Chocolate Chair: Dragon Breath
Adress: 621 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005
Okay, so I know I wasn't going to do certain desserts, instead places, but Chocolate Chair's special is the dragon breath balls. They are these cereal balls that come in a plastic cup. Nothing special right? But add the liquid nitrogen and it is totally different. You can put one in your mouth and breath out smoke! How cool is that? You've probably seen videos and pictures on social media about this.

8. Snow Monster
Adress: 3465 W 6th St Suite 120, Los Angeles, CA 90020
My Opinion: A monster cafe? Sounds weird, but hey, their desserts are good. It is more of a beverage though. They sell boba and an awesome topping on top, it may not be lavish, but definitely picture worthy. They come in lightbulbs, different names, and different flavors. I just like the fact that all of the flavors are so delicious and sound so trendy. 😉
