The main ingredient to this face mask is green tea. Why green tea? No, it's not about spilling the tea about stuff while doing face masks with your best friends, there is a better reason. The reason green tea is used is because it contains antioxidants that help the skin make visible changes. For example, it decreases inflammation and allows the skin to repair itself. In addition, it also helps the face mask incorporate a bit of anti-aging by creating a youthful glow for the skin.

(may be your next question) Rice paper is the base of this face masks and gives the whole project a gel feel mimicking the feeling of an actual gel face masks that you can buy at the store. Rice is great for skin and many people use rice water to wash the face. In this face mask, the rice paper makes the whole mask's base and it also adds a bunch of good additional qualities to it. One example is that it causes anti-inflammatory and another is that gets rid of oily skin. The anti-inflammatory  may be noticeable especially if you had any swelling red spots on your face.

This face mask is quick to make and one of the easiest DIYs you can find for a facemask. (for one face mask)

What you'll need:
- a medium size bowl
- at least three bags of green tea
- one sheet of rice paper
- a kettle (to boil water)
- scissors

Directions:
First, you are going to prep by boiling the water. In the meantime, cut the rice paper into four pieces. Two of the pieces should be larger than the other two. With one of the smaller two, cut out a little bit just to cover the tip of your nose or for any details at the end (this is optional). Next, soak the green tea bags in the boiling water that has been poured into the medium sized bowl and wait until the green tea is fully soaked and is ready to be used. Then dip each piece of the rice paper in the green tea one at a time so they don't rip or fold into the tea for about 30 seconds each. Then apply each piece directly onto your face after soaking every piece. Afterwards, wait 15-20 minutes before taking the mask off. Finally, take your mask off and you are ready to own the skin world with your glowing skin
