Top 5 K-Beauty Products that I Love

Yes, this post is dedicated to k-beauty. Yes, that is from Descendants of the Sun~. Now onto the article: It is simply amazing and I cannot express how much I love it. I started to question my skincare 'ritual' when I got into k-pop. I used to think to myself, "Wow, their skin is really amazing!" I did a little research and found different alternatives. I found a bunch of new stuff from face masks to foot cream. However, in this article, I'm going to be listing my favorites below.

1) Etude House's Moistfull Collagen Cream

 I use this cream EVERYDAY. I love it so much because it is not too oily. The previous creams I've used were oily, had a strong floral smell, and really thick. This cream is really light and it isn't too thick. It leaves a nice glossy touch and I use it every night right before bed over my toner. Although it is a bit pricy, Etude House holds a lot of sales so it lowers the price by a lot. I think this is definitely one of my top faves. 

2) Innisfree's Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea Seed

I really like this serum. It doesn't have a strong smell and it leaves a nice moisturized residue. It isn't too oily or watery like some other serums. In addition, it spreads over your skin well. It can also be paired with other brands which is a really good plus. It also is a Jeju Island based company so the ingredients are based off of the island's most top grown agriculture. I would definitely recommend this.  

3) Face Masks in general

Ok, so I need to inhale for this one because this one is going to be long. So basically, FACE MASKS ARE THE BEST. I live off of them. I'm not exaggerating. I use a face mask usually at least twice a week. I try a variety of them and I will list a few of my favorites below. Korean face masks aren't like traditional face masks where it comes in a container and you can spread it out as a paste. That can get messy. However, Korean Face Masks are just a sheet that has absorbed moisturizing serum. Different face masks have different needs. Some are cleansing, some are moisturizing, and some are firming. Throughout the past year, I struggled with a few breakouts. Although they weren't that large, I was about to breakout with a few pimples on my forehead and I guessed it stressed me out. I was getting them because of stress because of school and home I'm guessing. That's when face masks came in and they basically saved me from breakouts. Now my skin is clear. I am glad that I was introduced to these. I recommend storing them in the refrigerator because it keeps them more fresh and it feels more energizing when you apply it on your face.

4) Lip Tints

So I own about like 5 lip tints just because they are awesome. They moisturize and color at the same time which makes me hallelujah. Plus, it doesn't stain your napkin or coffee cup when drinking or wiping your mouth like most lip gloss and lipsticks do. Lip stains give you that fading kpop lip look that most kpop female idols wear. I think it makes the lip color pop and the detail to the makeup better. It overall gives a much softer look. I prefer wearing a variety of Etude House's lip tints. I also believe that it is a good product because it moisturizes your lips instead of drying them out just so you can add some color. They also come in super cute packagings sometimes. 

5) Etude House's Wonder Pore Deep Foaming Cleanser

I like this cleanser because it is really effective. It also makes me feel awake in the morning and clean during the night. This cleanser does it's job well by cleansing the skin extra well and leaves a moisturizing finish. I use this everyday twice a day and I really do love this cleanser. This is my favorite cleanser, but if you would like to try something else, I would recommend Innisfree's cleansers too.
